The term jailbreaking is a household term these days thanks to the iPhone’s popularity and the number of people in

PS3 Hybrid Firmware (HFW) 4.86.1 has been released and ready to download install on all PS3 console models. PS3 HFW 4.86 is a modified firmware that can be install over any OFW in PS3 FAT, Slim and Superslim consoles. Sony has released Offical Firmware (OFW) 4.86 on March 31, 2020. Today Sony has released a new version of System Software Update 4.85 for the Playstation 3. Check out the release notes, changelog and the download link provided below.

jailbreak community actively working on it. However, jailbreaking a PS3 may be whole lot different than jailbreaking an iOS device. We’ve tried to shed some light on this after the break.

STEP 1: First download this PS3 Jailbreak software below


STEP 2:

Stick Your USB while using the Laptop computer or Computer.Ps3 Update 4.50 Download Size

Make a directory inside USB and name it as PS3

STEP 4:

Produce new folder insde PS3 Listing name as Update.

STEP 5:

Duplicate the PS3UPDAT.PUP file that you will get through the higher than jailbreak tool and Paste it in the Update folder.

Now Connect Your USB to PS3.

STEP 7:

Visit the Settings and select Process Update.

STEP 8:

Select Update Through storage media.

STEP 9:

It is going to say it model 4.46-jb observed.

STEP 10:

Now Choose Ok.

STEP 11:

Click on Agree on conditions and Issue and Put in update.

STEP 12:

wait for a moment your PS3 will update, it’s going to beep Three-Four instances then shut down.

STEP 13:

Now Restart your PlayStation 3. You will have the Jailbroken System after that.

Be sure to download the proper file for your PS3. Japan’s update file isn’t the same as the US or EU update file.

Here are some of the new enhancements you’ll find when you update your PS3 to version 4.50:

  • Auto download of system software updates has been expanded to support all PSN users.
  • Auto download support of purchases made on the Sony Entertainment Network online store will be made available to all PSN users.
  • New options for trophy privacy settings allow users to set which trophies are visible.
  • Data can now be transferred from PS3 to PS Vita using Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection.

  • A wireless controller
  • A USB cable
  • A PC with Internet access
  • Storage media (Memory Stick™, SD Memory Card, CompactFlash®)* or a USB Mass Storage device such as a USB flash drive
    (At least 130 MB of free space required)
    * An appropriate USB adaptor (not included) is required to use storage media with some models.

Update data download procedure

  1. Create a folder on the storage media in which to save the update data.
    Using a PC, create a folder named “PS3” on the storage media or USB device. Within the PS3 folder, create a folder named “UPDATE”.
  2. Download the update data from the above links and save it in the “UPDATE” folder created in step 1.

Notice: Be sure to save the update data as noted below. If the data is not saved in the correct way, the PS3™ system will not recognize the update data. The folder name must be in all uppercase letters.

  • Location: Save in the “PS3” folder > “UPDATE” folder
  • File name: Save as file name “PS3UPDAT.PUP”.

Update procedure Notices

  • Do not turn off the PS3™ system or remove the storage media or USB device during an update. If an update is cancelled before completion, the system software may become damaged, and the system may require servicing or exchange.
  • During an update, the power button on the system front and PS button of the controller are inactive.
  1. Insert the storage media or USB device that contains the update data in the PS3™ system.
  2. From the home menu, select (Settings) > (System Update), and then press the button.
  3. Select [Update via Storage Media], and then press the button.

  4. The system automatically searches for and finds the update data saved on the storage media or USB device.

  1. Start the update data.
    Press the button to start the update data. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
  2. Confirm that the update was successful.
    After the update has been completed, go to (Settings) > (System Settings) > [System Information]. If the [System Software] field displays the version number of the update, the update was successful.

Hint: You can delete the update data from the storage media or USB device after the update has been successfully completed.
